DelegateWorker for Zoom

How DelegateWorker connects to Zoom meetings and what it does

DelegateWorker helps teams run more structured Zoom conversations with AI workers that can join meetings, ask role-specific questions, capture important signals, and summarize outcomes.

DelegateWorker is built for live business conversations where teams need consistent follow-up, better notes, and clearer next steps.

DelegateWorker joins meetings as a visible participant and is intended to be used only in meetings where participants are informed that an AI worker is present.

What DelegateWorker does

DelegateWorker connects to Zoom with your permission and allows you to start an AI worker for a meeting. The worker joins the meeting as a visible participant, introduces itself, and supports the conversation based on the worker type you select.

DelegateWorker currently supports three worker types.

Sales Discovery

Sales Discovery workers help qualify leads and capture buying signals during live sales conversations.

They can help identify:

  • Pain points
  • Current workflow
  • Urgency
  • Budget
  • Timeline
  • Decision makers
  • Objections
  • Success criteria
  • Recommended next steps

The worker asks concise discovery questions, avoids repeating information already provided, and helps produce a structured qualification summary after the call.

Coaching

Coaching workers help capture insights, blockers, decisions, and action items from coaching or advisory conversations.

They can help track:

  • Key insights
  • Commitments
  • Decisions
  • Blockers
  • Follow-up actions
  • Open questions
  • Next steps

The goal is to help the host stay focused on the conversation while DelegateWorker captures the important details.

Customer Success and Onboarding

Customer Success and Onboarding workers help guide onboarding conversations based on customer requirements and desired outcomes.

They can help capture:

  • Customer goals
  • Onboarding requirements
  • Adoption blockers
  • Health signals
  • Risks
  • Success criteria
  • Next actions
  • Outcome summaries

This helps customer-facing teams keep onboarding calls structured and focused on measurable outcomes.

How it works

  1. Connect your Zoom account.
  2. Choose a worker type.
  3. Create a worker session.
  4. Paste or connect a Zoom meeting.
  5. Start DelegateWorker.
  6. DelegateWorker joins the meeting as a visible participant.
  7. DelegateWorker introduces itself and supports the selected workflow.
  8. DelegateWorker captures structured notes, outcomes, and next steps.

When real-time meeting data is enabled, DelegateWorker uses Zoom Realtime Media Streams to process meeting audio or transcript data so the selected worker can respond to the conversation and help produce useful outcomes.

Zoom permissions

DelegateWorker requests Zoom permissions only for features required to connect to meetings and operate the selected worker.

The app may request permission to:

  • Identify the connected Zoom user
  • Read meeting information needed to validate a meeting
  • Retrieve user tokens needed for authorized meeting join
  • Receive real-time meeting audio or transcript data when enabled
  • Receive RTMS event notifications from Zoom

DelegateWorker does not use Zoom permissions to access meetings unless the user starts a worker session.

Data handling

DelegateWorker processes meeting information to provide the selected worker experience. Depending on the session, this may include meeting metadata, transcript segments, generated responses, summaries, action items, and qualification or onboarding outcomes.

DelegateWorker uses this information to:

  • Operate the selected worker during the meeting
  • Generate structured notes and summaries
  • Track qualification, coaching, or onboarding outcomes
  • Support follow-up and next steps
  • Improve reliability and session diagnostics

DelegateWorker does not access meetings automatically. A user must start a worker session before the worker joins a meeting.

DelegateWorker does not sell customer data.

Access tokens and secrets are stored server-side and are not exposed to the browser. Meeting data is used only to provide the DelegateWorker service to the connected user or customer.

User control

Users can disconnect Zoom access at any time from their Zoom account or from DelegateWorker settings.

A worker only joins a meeting when the user creates a worker session and starts the worker.
